The Ongoing Senior Living Project in North Royalton, Ohio
By Ryan Horvath
Traditions at Royalton Place is December’s featured project. This is an ongoing project for Choice Cabinet, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. Last week, I checked out North Royalton’s newest senior living complex and toured one of the model units.
Plan Your Luxury Kitchen
A BRIEF HISTORY
Traditions at Royalton Place houses four apartment buildings. Each building is four stories and contains 76 units. By the time the project finishes up, there will be 288 units with a variety of layouts to choose from. According to their website, it’s designed for “luxury living for 55 and better”.
Gross Builders is overseeing the development and construction of the buildings. Rezoning of the 26-acre lot for senior living took place in November 2014. Gross Builders proposed their plans to the City of North Royalton in April 2015. Once approved, the plans were set aside for a year. This was due to the relocation of the wetlands on the property. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers approved the relocated wetlands. Construction began shortly thereafter. Gross Builders designated 18 of the 26 acres for “green” space.
The first building finished construction in August 2018. The second building finished this August. Ground broke in July for the third building. When I was there last week, the progress on the third building was amazing to see. From what I could tell, they’re on pace to have it available by summer 2020. According to Gross Builders, the last building should be available in the summer of 2021.
LUXURY LIVING
Traditions at Royalton Place has plenty for residents to do. Along with a clubhouse, the complex has a welcoming facility. The facility has a social room as well as business and fitness centers. For outdoor activities, residents can relax by the heated saltwater pool. The complex has many picnic areas with grills for family get-togethers. The apartments are also near shopping and dining with easy access to highways. Residents will find healthcare nearby as well.
Interested visitors can expect to find a relaxing setting with luxury finishes. Future residents can choose between one- and two-bedroom layouts with walk-in closets. The smallest unit is 789 square feet while the largest is 1,327 square feet. Prices range from $990 to $1380 per month. The spacious suites feature a variety of amenities including valet trash pick-up. Each suite comes with its own full-size washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped including granite countertops. From a variety of layouts, the kitchen island is an option. For the cabinetry, Traditions at Royalton Place chose our Choice Essentials® Brentwood cabinets.
THE CHOICE DIFFERENCE
In meeting with Gross Builders, we gave them a variety of door styles to choose from. In the end, they chose our Choice Essentials® Brentwood cabinetry. Brentwood as been one of our most popular options for builders. It’s featured in the Statler Arms Apartments and Hamilton House projects. The dark espresso stain creates a bold but inviting space. The slab drawer front makes cleaning a breeze. We designed a contemporary and dynamic look with variable height wall cabinets. With a construction that can stand the test of time, these cabinets will look great for years to come. Learn more about Brentwood by clicking here.
